Objectives
The PhD Programme in Advanced English Studies aims to train PhDs in the field of the different linguistic disciplines and English-language literatures and cultures, generating quality research with international impact and providing the scientific community and the working and socio-economic environment with advanced and professional knowledge to improve their competitiveness on a global scale.

CM1. To have acquired advanced knowledge at the frontier of knowledge and to have demonstrated, in the context of national and international research in English Philology, a deep, detailed and well-founded understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline.
CM2. To have made an original and significant contribution to scientific research in the field of English Philology.
CM3. To have demonstrated the ability to design a research project with which to carry out a critical analysis in which to apply the contributions, knowledge and methodology of their field of research.
CM4. To have demonstrated the ability to participate in national and international scientific discussions in their field of knowledge, and to disseminate the results of their research activity in English.
